Spring

I've decided to go with an Art Nouveau image that I posted long-long ago to work with this weeks Illustration Friday theme. "Spring" is the topic this time, and a simple leafy branch should do the job for this challenge.

Sorry, no monsters to show today. I could have shown a 'spring board' or a 'metal spring', but it was time to do a lil' mainstream old school on ya.

The monsters could come back next week, though...

Thank you Gina at Illustration Friday for suggesting this subject matter!
I've been itching to post this fellow for a while.

This is a RedCap. They are named for their practice of staining their caps in enemy blood. They can and will eat anything- flesh, bone, bricks, wooden doors, tax returns, religious nuts...
They are the stuff of nightmares and bad attitudes.

Show some manners, or one of these 'Monsters' will pop out of your dreams and make you live to regret it (if you survive the encounter)...

I just don't 'SEE' the point.

Harvey the Ghoul

This week's Illustration Friday challenge is 'Tattoo'.
So, going back many years I remembered an illustration I did. A woman (her name was Cynzia) saw me photocopying it and wanted a copy to take to a tattoo parlour.

I don't know what it is that makes attractive women want to permanently tattoo my artwork to their bodies, but I guess I shouldn't complain. At least I'm getting free gallery displays everytime a gal goes to the beach...
