Spring

I've decided to go with an Art Nouveau image that I posted long-long ago to work with this weeks Illustration Friday theme. "Spring" is the topic this time, and a simple leafy branch should do the job for this challenge.

Sorry, no monsters to show today. I could have shown a 'spring board' or a 'metal spring', but it was time to do a lil' mainstream old school on ya.

The monsters could come back next week, though...

It's beautifully done, and hopefully will burst into color any minute now. Just like spring. Let's hope those Kalamazoo beauties don't get covered with snow in the next few days.

It's not the snow, Ginger (very little this year), it's the rain and the millions and zillions of LadyBugs buzzing around here.
They kinda sleep all year long in attics and eves and curtains until things warm up then they scamper all over the windows and door to get outside.

And we are happy to oblige!
:-D

this is still your signature style and it is so beautiful! I love line drawings (sometimes they exude more feeling than colour can)This looks like a drawing from a wonderful book! Great work!

It's warm here despite the rainstorms, Isay. As for the monsters, they all wanna play poker in the basement. Meanwhile I gotta do all the yard work!
