Glabrezu
I did this a few years back, as part of an ongoing series (just fer myself). I wanted to use a Disney-esque technique that involves using a slightly darker color of the character's normal color and applying it as an outline. I hate it when Disney does it ( I actually perfer the old black outline they used to use, those years of xerography ) But I wanted to try is just for the sake of experimentation. It didn't turn out too bad. The other idea was for the rocks. I think they look kinda kewl. Whadda you think out there ? I know you're lurking at this blog. Hate mail or pleasant comments will both show up, so don't be shy...

I like black better too but those colors are intense. What did you use? And what's he thinking about? Or actually does thinking apply to Glabrezus? And what's the plural of Glabrezu anyway? And is there one and ok, I'll shut up know.
Photoshop as usual is my engine of art. Just the paintbrush and airbrush tools and lots and lots o' time. A few filters also were added. He's planning his next diabolic move in the Blood War. Glabrezu is like Moose, it works in all ways. And there are many-many-many Glabrezu. Glad you opened your mouth. :-D
Your imagination is awe-inspiring. Dang! I love the pose on this and the colors. I haven't a clue how to make things look three dimension in photoshop. Nice work, Illo Girl!
It's just a matter of studying anatomy and determining where the light source will be when you start shading a picture. I hope you get time to do some drawing of your own soon! (hint hint Kymberlee)
See now that's the problem. I'm too busy studying anatomy to actually sit down and draw. ;-)
My goodness, you sure are saucey tonight, Kymberlee ! Or would that be sassy ? It sure makes it lively here when you visit. Never change, doll-face !
Being sassy often makes me a bit saucey. I'm glad I liven it up for ya. I couldn't change if I wanted to, darlin'. *dashes off to go find a towel for the sauce*
Hmmmmmmmmm. Kymberlee, tangy yet tasty. With just a dash of pepper and sugar. Hmmmmmmmmm.
You are in big trouble, Steve. Making me think that all you could do was gradients and simple stuff in Photoshop. Saying my digital is better. Ha! Letting me make a fool of myself by offering tips. grrrrr.....
This is excellent. But you are still in trouble.
You should go through my blog from February to the present, Miss Daze. You might be suprised !
Are you gonna punish me ?
I still think that you are doing things that I have yet to figure out.
So there !
I have looked through much of your archives but I thought you scanned images you'd drawn and dropped in a Photoshop background.
So there!
If you are really really good, I might tell you some of my secrets. But, something tells me you'd prefer to be bad just for the punishment. Am I right, heh heh, or am I right?
Well, I did draw those on paper, then popped them in Photoshop to color and render some snazzy backgrounds. I don't always do things the easy way.
As for my preferences for my behavior, just remember this- 'Good Girls Go To Heaven, But The Bad Girls Go Everywhere'.
(P.S. a thousand brownie points if someone can name who sang that song) I don't think I'm going to heaven, so you'll have to step up and punish me. Secrets are fun too...
