Blue
This is just a quickie photoshop & mouse experiment. I wanted to try paint particles ( a la Georges Seurat : A SUNDAY ON LA GRANDE JATTE- 1884) to create texture for ice and snow. What better to use as a test subject than a 'Blue' sno cone.
The cone itself was just a filter I've wanted to fool around with. Nothing fancy here, only my clumsy attempts to mess around with photoshop.
That and a few doses of Gaussian blur and the burn tool...
Bluuuuuuuuuuuuuuueeeeee !
:-D

I came here first, as usual, and now I want BLUE ice cream! The colors and technique are very interesting Steve. Do people really turn green after eating Blue ice cream?
I'm afraid it's only that special Kalamazoo BLUE ice cream that turns your skin green, Ginger.
You should see what it does to your tongue...
:-D
your blue ice cream makes me feel better and the character on the sides can make it a possible advertisement-steve blue ice cream?
Great blue ice cream !
Would that make me a cartoon 'spammer' , Isay ?
I would be my own worst enemy...
(Glad to hear that you are feeling better!)
:-)
Thanx Rowantree !
Right on! Now that's BLUE!
Looks tasty! I especially like the green cone...I hope that isn't mold! Looks like you had a fun time with this:>>>>>
I like the blue ice cream (though I'm partial to yogurt myself). But I just love those 2 little characters salivating for a lick of that blue ice cream.
Have some Blue ice cream, Joe! Yum!
:-)
That's not mold, Carla...that's mint ! I was feelin' kinda goofy when I did this.
Course, that's my natural state...
:-D
Just like anyone else, those two are itching for ice cream ! Heck Janey, they'd be yo-yo for yogurt too...
Especially if it was Blue!
:-D
Ah yes, Pointillism ... went through a stage myself :) It does bring the best out of colour when married with opposites - as how it works here with your cream and cone :)
great idea, the blue snowcones are always the best
this is swell!
I love the colors here, but the shave ice (sno cone) has me thinking of my last home (Hawaii). Great job.
Pointillism ! That was the word I was unable to remember ! Thank you, Anonymous !
:-)
You are so right, Anthony!
Thanx, Valgalart !
:-)
I hope you have happy memories of Hawaii, Urban Convert. Where do you live now ?
this is a beast--i like how you portrayed blue.
You are most kind, FromThaBrook !
