Twilight

This is a Sun & Moon motif that I did a lil' while ago. I did another one a long time ago for a female client who wanted a Sun & Moon image to take to a tattoo parlour for her butt cheek.

As a result, my art won't get a lot of display time, but it will get the occasional viewing from discriminating select (art) lovers. Not to mention that the eventual canvas had a delightful shape for exhibition...

This is my contribution for Illustration Friday's 'Night' challenge. If any future clients would like this transferred to their derrie're ( fanny ) for high class mooning, drop me a line and we'll talk rates. I also do original requests, let's do business!

How interesting that you designed a tattoo. One of our daughters has been drawing tattoo flash for a number of years now. It always amazes me where the final art is going to show up and how much space some of it takes. Of course I also had to be prepared for seeing the artwork permanently displayed on all three of my children as they grew up. Why did their dad always know about this before me?

I like the image, Steve, even if its not always in plain sight.

Some individuals enjoy turning their bodies into walking works of art, a living canvas if you will. I personally have no tattoos on my body, nor do I entertain doing so in the future. But if other people are willing to pay good money for me to design art for their flesh, well...that means I can go out and buy more CD's and books! :-D

At least your children had the good taste of recieving your genetic aptitude for art, Ginger. (Who knows, it could have been worse!) Sounds like their dad was a co-conspirator! Better keep an eye on him!

Thanks for the compliment, sorry if I made you blush.

I love it! My tongue has a fondness for tracing the outline of tattoos. You are so talented, S. *hugging your talented self*

Hmmm. Y'know what would be an interesting nanotech idea, Kymberlee ? Tattoo flavors! You could choose from Raspberry, Blueberry, Pizza, Bubblegum, Cinnamon, Peaches&Cream, Bacon, Mint, and Chocolate !

Talk about giving your lover a good licking !
And thanx for the wonderful hug, sweetie!

I like your 'not unlike your old tattoo design' Steve! Moon has a cute chinny-chin-chin and there is a star for every month of the year *:)

this is a great illo / tattoo... i like how you balanced the sun's rays with a scattering of stars around the moon.

while i don't think i would ever get a tattoo...i love this design. it has a nice intaglio print feel to it.

I like this one. The design is really good. Especially like how the sun's rays and the stars lead into one another. As for tatoos? I just can't see doing that to your body. I had my ears pierced when I was 16. I was the only one of my friends who actually went to a doctor to do it. I fainted - I think I scared the doctor. He stopped doing ears after that.
