FrankenBolt

This week's Illustration Friday's word is 'Remote'. This word was submitted by my buddy Kevin (K's DiseasedWits) several months ago. His old blog is gone, but his new one (see previous parentheses) has his current work. He doesn't have comments turned on, but you can still email him your thoughts and good wishes- kevin@umamidesign.com.

As for me, my old blog here is still kickin', and now I present my submission for this week. Not only is he on 'remote' control, my FrankenBolt was also done a remote time ago (about 5 years past). And oldie, but a goodie, this scribble was quite fun to put down as I recall.

:-)

Good job with Remote. I like your "remote" time ago, justification, too!

Well, Isay, I don't like having to fill out those annoying word verification boxes. And that means that I refuse to encourage their use on my blog. It's sorta like putting a million locks on your doors. Instead of more locks, why not catch the criminals and lock THEM away, rather than allowing ourselves to lock ourselves up. If that makes sense...

Thanx for your kind words, Isay !

This may be an oldie, but it is a goodie! It especially fit the season of the year. It's that wonderful time of year when some of us just fit in everyday! I like that you save your old sketches. You never know when one of them will ask to be reborn.

Halloween is my favorite time of the year, Ginger!
My filing cabinet is full o' weird critters, all of them jostling for position to get my attention.

You're welcome, dude. You need some recognition once in a while. Don't forget, my Summoning links still contain your blog address and is still active.

I guess I never gave up hope for your diseasedwits blog...

Several levels ... remote control, remote time, remotely placed in centre of paper, but NOT remotely amusing - or is that remotely amusing??? I'm laughing and brain is remote at the moment.

Great characters and original capture about this week topic !

I've just been tagged and I'm tagged you next (hope you don't mind) ... TAG, YOU'RE IT! You have to post 20 random facts about yourself on your blog and then tag as many people as many minutes as it took for you to finish your list. Have fun!

Old things never die, they just get recycled. Ask Frank! He looks like fun. Nice job, Steve.

Is his chance of surviving a "Bolt-in-the-neck" remotely possible?
He makes me want to go see what is in my old scraps too!

Yikes! I once saw a guy with a piercing that looked like that bolt...pretty extreme, I must say. Anywhooo...I like the sense of motion here...he looks like he's lumbering away from Dr. F's table in search of a nice little family to spy on. I like it! And yeah...get that word verification..unless you like the spam squad!

Are you aware of my payment rates, Vneath ? If not I'll give you a link to the part of my blog that contains it. Maybe we can do business.

P.S. Luv the animation you did on your site!

It appears you've been busy while I've been designing my "I survived Wilma" tshirt.

This guy is sooo cute. He looks like he might have the kind of headache I get after a dental visit. And so very perfectly halooweeny.

It's Hurricane Janey! Hopefully your visits to the dentist will be few and far between, and will involve only cleanings!
