Dreadnautical

Just messing around here in photoshop. No sketching. Only PS as a medium. Something quick and simple. I hate illustrating large bodies of water so I consider this to be good practice for bigger and better things in the future.

I'll try some more water based themes eventually.
That's a tentative promise...

Thanx, Isay ! Nope, it's a battleship (the guns can be seen in the back). I tried to keep it simple.

Did you notice the seagull in the distance ?

Now brush those grains of dreamdust out of your eyes and drag your lil' fanny outta bed.
C'mon. I know you can do it.
Time to shower and eat your breakfast, Isay.

Don't make me call your mommy to wake you up !

That's just messing about, what happens when you decide to take it seriously? I like the colours and love all the details you added. Nice joke title.

I like the shimmering pink telling of the end of an old day. The water is looking good Steve but there needs to be a larger, darker shadow from the battleship which has great reflection.

Nice, nice and really nice. Love that pink horizon and the bird in the distance and the angle of the boat (or is it ship - never can figure that out)

I'm glad you approve, Janey ! I told ya I'd be posting more artwork soon.
I think boat refers to small vessels and ship refers to large vessels.
Or something like that...
:-D
