This week's Illustration Friday subject is 'Under the Sea'.
Is it just me or has there been several references to the ocean/water over the past year from Illo Friday ?

I thought so ! Thank you Rectite23 for backing me up on this ! At first I was starting to think I had slipped into a parallel universe (again!) where things are slightly off kilter, but now I have proof that Illo Friday is starting to recycle old themes.
That's a shame, some of us have suggested great ideas that have never been used.
Like I said, it's fishy...

That's a good question, DeezNutts. I want to say that it's all random, but somehow I think it might be more likely to be a 'friends of Penelope' sort of thing. I just hope the new challenges aren't so lame.

Hah ! Did you ever see the episode of 'Futurama' where Fry falls in love with a mermaid and on their wedding night she explains how to 'do it' with the fishes ? He runs back to the ship where the crew are trying to get to the surface ( I luv the whole 'suppository water breathing pills' idea ).
