Hurricane Assistance

Be careful when you recieve solicitations from the American Red Cross.

Some of them may be the work of scam artists (not to be confused with cartoon artists). Beware of emails containing links that take you to fake Red Cross web sites, leaving your personal information there could lead to identity theft.

If you want to donate money to help with the Katrina Disaster, go to the actual Red Cross web site:

www.redcross.org
(I didn't create an actual link, I want you to type it in yourself, that way you know it's legit)

Or you can call:

(800) HELP-NOW

Thanks Steve, not many people know this, and with emotions running so high, they may be tempted to send money anywhere if they think it's legit.
