IllustrationFriday "Bloom"

I decided to do some heavy ink work for this entry in Illustraton Friday. It took some time but it was worth it. A lil' scary, a lil' lovely. Makes me think of halloween and spring all at once ! Nuff said.

Rebecca, I also luv Ferngully ( red light ! green light !) And Tim Curry is a god ! He played Darkness in the movie Legend. ( Yes, that was him under all that latex and makeup ! ) Fun stuff !

Thank you Bertha and Jenny M ! A few influences for me over the years were Rankin/Bass's Tolkien animated movies and Charles Vess. There have been many more but I don't have room and I doubt you have the time. See ya next Illustration Friday !
