The email this morning from Illustration Friday said 'Simple' by Von Glitschka. Who is Von Glitschka ? I don't recall seeing that name on Illo Friday. Very odd...
Anyway, here is a simple zigzag fer ya ta looky at. :-)
Dang dude, if that were any moresimple, it'd be a straight line.
As for that Von Glitchka, I think it's a ruse..the rest of us Kick Ass Artists have been requesting a bananas theme for weeks....Would go Gr8 with my balls :p
Hi Steve, This one reminds me of the 20-car pile up on the highway Thursday morning. Typical lake effect, white out conditions with black ice! No one was seriously hurt, thank goodness, but a few of the wrecks ended up as that metal sculpture that anonymous mentioned. :D
Sounds like Michigan, Mick. N.Y. has a lot in common with us. (except for the bed bug wave, we have avoided that lil' problem). :-D We should switch over to advanced plastics for car bodies, it's lighter and cheaper and more durable. And easier to recycle... Thanx for stopping by dude ! :-)
This is so cool!!!I always love your point of view!!! funny, I received an email from another artist this morning saying who is this artist Von Glitzy, and not remembering this name?
lol - when I first saw your drawing I imagined myself in a tiny car and your drawing was a racetrack. Those sharp corners are killer. That's probably where the 20 car pileup happened.

Thanx Corrine ! Glad I'm not alone in my viewpoint.

Like a Morbius loop having a seizure!

I like it. Would like to see it made out of metal, on a large scale.
Infinity needs ritalin, Unknown...

Metal working is beyond my skill-set, Anonymous. But you are right, it would be interesting!
Like your idea, but miss seeing one of your expressive drawings!

you are very involved and I like that
If you ignore the turns, it would be a straight-ish line, Dangster.
:-D
Banana's, huh ? I could slip into that theme...
:-D

I like this as a design, as a maze and as a piece of wearable art... either a whole body piece or a "simple" pendant.
can be a good wood or silver decoration in the sala. zig zig zag
Yeah it was, Carla, but it fell into a bad group of delinquent curves...
:-D
Good to hear from you again, ValGalArt!
Yeah, something fishy is going on here at Illo Friday.
Maybe we'll hear something about this soon...
Hiya Ginger ! It can also be the next flexible Rubic's Cube !
:-D
Hope I get paid for that...
That's the best way to live, Isay. Zig Zig Zag !
:-D

I like it too. It would be great in metal, maybe you could try a thin guaged metal wire. Home Depot is my 2nd favorite Art Store!

like a playground for the eyes, not as simple as it first seems. Nice.
Looky like my stomach feel on a bad day.
Hmmmm, isn't simple to work out ... not for my simple brain :)

It reminds me of a Celtic Knot but one that is only partially tied!
I like the way you always raise a smile.
Very nice. Reminds me of an Escher drawing. Simple but also complex?
Yoy ziged when you should have zaged! Have a good one Steve!
Uh-Oh.And you expect us to untangle it??!
Where's a machete when you need one...
Well, it looks like a SIMPLE zig zag…I am getting my jollies out of all the comments. Great fun – as usual! Lily.
Thanx, Kiri !
Do you specialize in metallic sculpture, TatianaPakasso ?
It's worth a second look, Kaya.
:-)
Sorry to hear about your tumbling tummy, Janey. Hope you feel better soon !
Nice try, Anonymous. We all know you are pretty brainy!

It's a slippery situation on the zig zag track, Madretz.
Celtic knots are kinda tricky, Caroline, I've illustrated them before.
Escher is a giant in art history, aeiouBooks, thanx for the compliment !
Howdy Joe ! Drive safe dude !
Here'z a dull butter knife, LizJones, have fun.

Each weeks' comments are actually half of the fun, LilyandLucyWhite...
:-)
I love being reminded.... when a kid I used to delight in drawing mazes!
simply cool!
I can assure you that 'Glitschka' is a real name.
In fact in Czech it means 'Doorknob'.
Von
Ach- it's the self-consuming, self-perpeptuatin, quasi-dimensional French Fry!
If I'm ever lost in a labyrinth, I'll look you up Kathleen.
:-)
Thanx Von, glad to meet ya!
Moebius is spinning in his grave, Tony.
:-D
